Have you considered accupuncture? I did it with Lemy and went into labor 48 hours later. Granted, we also had the MW strip my membranes (fun!), so I think that with the accupuncture helped to move things along. Either way, enjoy these last few moments with Tiny B on the inside--they are so precious! ((hugs))

Being overdue can't be anything but good, can it? I have no idea, really - but my assumption is that more time in the oven means a better bun. If you're dying to jumpstart the action, consider getting a foot rub - I've heard getting your toes played with helps make labor happen.

Seems like you're doing just fine - even if you end up with induction, it isn't necessarily the worst thing. I was in a long slow labor and eventually had my water broken (which made no difference) and then a low dose of pitocin. It really wasn't that bad and seemed to speed things up.

Glad you're doing well and I heartily second the idea of wine...

I also did not want to be induced and because my dr was not as patient as yours seems to be and would only let me go to 41 weeks I started trying anything and everything the days before my final appointment. I don’t like to give assvice but if you want to
