Oh. My. Dh&#39;s stepbrother renovated our bathroom last year for us. It was far, far less eventful than your story -- but even so, it will be a long time before I attempt another reno job again. I think renovations are stressful by definition. We have been in the process of having the basement finished for my entire pregnancy. I have been able to shower at home through all of this, but I am beginning to go insane. So, in a way, I feel you pain. Because renos are so disruptive.

Ugh! And that is why I&#39;ve avoided renovating anything in this house. I&#39;m just not sure it&#39;s worth my sanity. I&#39;m sorry things have been so nuts. Keeping my fingers crossed that it all falls into place ASAP!

Nightmare. What a nightmare.<br /><br />Did I mention I was glad we redid both the main and ensuite bathrooms in our house within the last 2 years, before I got pregnant? SO glad. We also did them at different times. One in spring, one in fall. So yes, there was an old bathtub and toilet out in our yard, but it was only for a couple days, while the new ones were being installed.<br /><br />

Ugggh. That sounds absolutely dreadful. I hope this all gets resolved very, VERY quickly and that you can take a long, warm bath to shrug away all of the stress of the renovation.<br /><br />*Funny, we decided to reno the kitchen prior to E being born, and they also found a bathroom leak directly above the kitchen. Set up back about 2 weeks. Those leaks are a pain in the ass.
