Thankful

There are days like today, where I'm very VERY thankful that I have the husband I have.

The kind of husband who after my child kept me up from TWO until FOUR THIRTY in the FREAKING MORNING, then woke permanently at SIX, took D out for a walk at 9am so I could nap.

The kind of husband who returned home from that walk with a banana chocolate chip muffin and a frappuccino - supposedly "from D" who was "very sorry for being such a little shit last night".

The kind of husband who is now out buying groceries for the week, so *I* don't have to, and so I can chill out with my muffin and frappuccino while D naps... or screams...

I think our husbands are related. What a sweetheart. It's nice to know that when the shit hits the fan, he'll be there with a towel and vodka.

Those kind of husbands are the absolute BEST.

And, omg, is that really your picture I see over on the left of the main screen. You are gorgeous!

Definitely a keeper. He's awesome.

And posts like these remind me that my husband is a rock star too.

Thanks for sharing.

Oh goodness, I've been there too. Those days/nights are hard. It will pass. 5 months or so is tough for sleep. Once he's crawling, he'll get a little better at sleep. Your husband sounds awesome. Mine has come to the rescue like that a few times too, and it really does make one thankful! Glad you're getting a break. Hang in there.

I cannot stand the way you emphasize EVERY other WORD.

OH man, I totally know that feeling. Sounds like you have a great man. I have one too. Sometimes I wonder how I can ever be the passive-aggressive, irritable bee-yatch I sometimes am around that man of mine.

Having a guy like that makes the tough times do-able. And he's lucky to have you, too, someone who appreciates him.

And, to @Anon. Really?? You DRIVE by and throw out an opinion you won't even CLAIM? As Melissa says, that's the equivalent to coming into someone's LIVING room and taking a DUMP on their FLOOR. With a BAG over your HEAD.

REALLY??
