Mother of the Year

When I blow in D's face, he actually SNORTS to suck it in.

GREAT. BIG. INHALING. SNORTS!

How did I learn this?

Oh, by doing it just about WAY too many times tonight... in between laughing my ass off... at my boy's expense...

He'll be doing the same to you someday in the nursing home.

So enjoy!

I loved it when the boys turned from eating, sleeping, pooping and crying infant "blobs" into interactive human beings.

They still do all of those activities (eating, sleeping, pooping & crying), but somehow the interaction makes it much more fun.

I bet he loves it too and is having fun listening to you laugh and enjoy your time together.

Too fun!

When my son had crying fits as an newborn we use to do that. It made him forget why he was crying if there really was no legitimate reason. Just for future reference though it doesn't work on screaming 22 month olds-it only pisses them off more!

I do it too, and fortunately C loves it. After the gasp and look of surprise comes a huge smile...it is awesome. But I do tend to do it for my own amusement as much as his.
