Apparently at 39 weeks, my brain has gone to mush, because these are the types of [irrational] thoughts I was having yesterday...
"I can't go into H&M cuz if my water broke in there, I'd be horrified - everyone's too young and would stare and shit. The Banana Republic crowd seems like THEY'D get it though, so I'll go in there, but I'll stick to the back rows rather than the centre of the store... just in case."
"All these mall people, f*, they're all so f*g carefree - drinking $6 Jugo Juices and carrying their piles and piles and PILES of bags from all the stuff they bought. I bet they're even going to a PUB later, to spend MORE money on MORE stupid things... I miss being that stupid..."
And today, at 39 weeks 6 days, it's not much better...
"Maybe all that ice cream I'm eating is turning Tiny B into a chubbo and he's going to be like 10lbs, and won't fit into ANYTHING we have, cuz I've lost another pound, and that weight has GOT to be going SOMEWHERE!?!"
"If I don't rake/weed/trim my garden(s) before this kid comes, they're going to look like THAT until Spring, and I CAN'T have people see them that way."... so this morning I raked, clipped, and weeded until they were presentable... cuz yea, THAT's a priority right now...

All sounds completely normal to me. :) I remember 39 weeks. You are right on track.
How has time just flown?!
Mush brain is so completely normal--and if you want me to be honest, Im still battling with my mush brain :)
That's awesome that you are raking and weeding at 39 weeks 6 days! haha
I'm thinkin of ya!
Come on baby...leave your poor mommy's brain alone and come out already! :-)
At 39 weeks, it's totally to be expected!
Come on Tiny B!
My thoughts are similarly mushy, but I don't have the obvious excuse you do.
Good luck! I never know when you'll put up your last "before" post!
My hairstylist shaved the whole garden at 39 weeks for that precise reason...oh wait, were you talking about an ACTUAL garden?
areyoukiddingme, ROFL! I wondered if I had to clarify which garden I was speaking about, but yea, unfortunately it's the OUTDOOR one. The uh... indoor one... well, it needs more than just a trim and weed...
If it helps, most people don't do the public gush? :)

I lost my mind at 39 weeks too. Totally normal!
WOW It is hard to believe you are at 39 weeks. It seems to have gone by fast. At least for me LOL.
Sending good thoughts and lots of hugs you way!I am so excited for you!
WOW! 39 weeks and 6 days! I remember having similar crazy thoughts (Oh and the dreams were just insane!) toward the end of my pregnancies.
Ha, I had been wondering to myself whether your little one had already shown up on the outside! Good luck and enjoy the insanity!
You are totally insane. But you know that right? love you!
Yeah, none of that sounds overly irrational to me. Especially the second one... stupid carefree people.
Sounds entirely normal to me too.
Total lack of rationality is absolutely NORMAL at this point. Sometimes I think you never completely go back to normal.
are you seriously raking, clipping and weeding? Jesus, you are FAR more on top of things than me. And I have no 39 weeks excuse.
