Ick ick ICKKKKKK!
I just did my first shot of Synarel, and while the actual PROCESS of snorting it up my nose was much easier than I thought it'd be, the after-effects are slightly less than appealing. Well, the 5-min after-effects that is.
As a tried and true gal who lets mild forms of OCD appear in various parts of her life, I'm surprised to say the urge to BLOW IT OUT of my nose and EMPTY my freakin' nose ain't that bad. What IS bad however, is that I can now TASTE IT in my throat. And I'd liken the taste to eating hairspray.
So APPARENTLY, I'm going to 'eat hairspray' to get pregnant...

WEll - isn't that Loverly
I have no idea what that is, but it definitely doesn't sound pleasant. Just pretend it's crack. And while you're snorting hairspray to get pregnant, take some BCP's also... I've heard they work wonders!
Oh my word! I have never heard of such a thing!!!
Well...rest assured, you will have the most well coifed nose hairs of anyone you know. :)
Synarel is Not Tasty at all....
J
Yuck.
Did you ever have big hair? If you did it must have brought back memories of auqanet.
Hope you don't have to take this stuff for very long!
Well, I hope you one day get to say, "I ate hairspray to have you!"
Yes I totally agree, it is disgusting ! I just kept hoping it wouldn't trickle down my throat but it always did.
As for your question re taking a photo of the embryo. My husband took it with his camera just of the screen and no flash.
All the best with this cycle.
ICK. That doesn't sound fun at all. Can you drink anything to get the taste to go away?
ewuk. I don't know if that's the right way to spell the word I'm thinking of. Ewww and oook together. But not "oook", more like "yooooouuuukkkk" like the red sox cry. ewwuk. ewwwouk.
what the hell is wrong with me?
Sorry you have to eat hairspray.
Yup--I can STILL taste that stuff if I think about it--nasty after-taste!
Follow it up with some juice or a mint or something strong tasting. I love it when it drips down the back of your throat. Mmmm.
"youk".
Yes, I've actually been thinking about how to spell my sound.
