On his way out to IUI#3 this morning, the husband called me and planted the idea that what we're doing here is a little game called Spank & Win - SPANKING it being what he was off to do, WINNING it being the BFP we get. Oh, and the bonus of the IVF fund remaining in the bank. Cha-ching!
You see, if he can spank it, we can win it. We can win it ALLLLLL!!!
Unfortunately though, we've reached the point where we're not so much about the THINKING we'll actually win it anymore, we're more about the HOPING we'll still win it.
Cuz with IUI#1, there was a CAKE! And a "Happy Spanking It In a Public Place" kit! And a WHOLE LOTTA motivation, inspiration, and perspiration from the ever-so-supportive wifey.
With IUI#2, there was a LITTLE BITTA motivation and inspiration, but not so much perspiration as there was a pushing of the kit to "just use that again eh?"
And with IUI#3, I think the actual words that came out of his mouth were, "Where da f* is my wife?"
