Rockin'

I ain't got nothing going on. No symptoms of AF. No symptoms of preggo. Nothing. Thankfully, I do have this to distract me.

I have been NOMINATED by my local chum Megan (who I had the pleasure of eating WAAAAAYYYY too spicy food with the other night while venting up a storm re our clinic), the animated Lub (who while she hasn't been blogging long, makes me read her cuz I think she thinks a lot like me), and the lovely Sully (whose posts have a real honesty to them that sometimes make them even brave with the info she's willing to share) as a Rockin' Girl Blogger! Woohoo!

So, in honor of this lovely sparkling pink box, I'd like to nominate five fabulous ladies myself:
  1. OliveGirl. Cuz she's been through some truly awful shit and is so damn good to me every single day in spite of this. Cuz she says things that shock and horrify me in the morbid way that only I could enjoy. And cuz she can rock a bottle of wine like it's nobody's business.

  2. Kim. Cuz she says things in her blog I wish I'd said. And she writes them in a way I wish I would've - cuz I've definitely thought them, but just not known what to do with them. Oh, and cuz sometimes, she gets angry just like me and I can't help but love that:-)

  3. Ann. Cuz while she entertains me with her rants, and can tell a story using all the right details and leaving out all the wrong ones, mostly she has forever endeared herself to me by once commenting to someone that vibrators and chocolate were all she needed to fix something.

  4. Carrie. Cuz she has been through soooooooo much, and yet she continues to write extremely supportive and caring comments on so many blogs, including mine. Cuz she seems to have this amazing ability to give and give and give, when I'm sure it's the last thing on earth she feels like doing. And if it ISN'T the last thing on earth she feels like doing, she gets even more kudos!
  5. Roadblocks and Rollercoasters. Cuz while she hasn't been blogging long, she's already got me hooked. She's a really great writer, and she finds ways of describing things that get me all teary-eyed... in that fucked up good way.

  6. And while I'm not supposed to do six, I will cuz I want to. Chris. Cuz she's the most amazing supportive lady out here, cuz she's almost always got a positive attitude about all of this crap, and cuz she's onto her first IVF, carrying along with her, that very very great attitude.

Thanks! What an honor! I think I kinda like being known for my anger. My IRL persona is so different. I guess I can let my anger out with all of you and it can be accepted. NICE!

YOU ROCK!

In regards to me being inseminated twice ... Each IUI cycle includes 2 inseminations, but only if it's necessary. If at the insemination, they see my follicles have still not leggo the eggo, they will schedule a second insemination the next day with a new sample. Of course, it would of only been one day since the last sample (or in my case, 3 days, since 1st was frozen) so it wouldn't be as "good".

But alas, my eggs have already let go, so no 2nd insemination for me. He just told me to do my "homework" and have as much sex as we would like to - to get as much of his men up there while the ggie is alive. I asked him about abstaining after insemination to not "dirty" the washed sperm, but he said it wouldn't have any effect on the cleaned sperm, as those sperm would of gotten to the egg immediately.

(man, i'm wordy. sorry about that!)
